We’ve had two very long days in the hospital. Yesterday we were here from 10:30 am to 9:15 pm. Everything is going smoothly though slow. The port access yesterday was easy for him and he still seems to be feeling fine after two days of chemo. It’s just that we are on back on hospital […]

I finally got up the guts tonight to tell Sammy that he might lose his hair. I’d told him on Friday on the way to the radiation simulation that we had to do chemo on Monday and that it would help the pain in his leg and his itchy, dry eyes and nose and he […]

We didn’t win the Fenretinide lottery. Sammy has a new spot on his leg right below the main spot and the spots that were showing up on the last MRI are now MIBG positive. Dr. Villablanca called us at the “happiest place on earth” to tell us. Dr. Villablanca, Dr. Maris and Dr. Scholler recommended […]

Today is Andy’s first day of preschool for the year. He went to his open house last week and likes his new teachers, Shauna and Roberta, and his new big room. He’s in afternoons this year 1-4. I’m not sure how tired he’ll be because he still naps every once in a while in the […]

The boys had a good weekend and Sammy had a great first week of school. He is home today sick with a cough and a fever – though he’s actually not feeling all that bad. I think Andy and Charlie are getting it too. Joy. I hate when Sammy has to miss school because a […]

I consider myself the luckiest man in the world have 3 sons. I often think of having a daughter and if I were blessed with a daughter, I would want her to be beautiful, have a megawatt smile that lights up a room, a sense of humor than brings laughter to all around. In short, […]

All for one and one for all. My three little red headed musketeers had a big day yesterday in Los Angeles yesterday. Sammy said he wants us all to come up every time. We drove in Tuesday night late, the kids were sleeping when we got there and Neil and I were worn out. There […]

Happy Labor Day! We had a very nice weekend. The boys got in a lot of swimming, a Happy 1st grade barbecue at Colleen and Joe’s complete with a jumpy, and a trip to the nighttime zoo with Maureen and Mommy last night. Tomorrow is the big first day of school and Sammy is very […]
