Sam is in the hospital today but can go home as soon as he goes potty (he is still considered post surgery and this is a requirement to send a patient home). Call the hospital before you go (858-576 – 1700) to make sure they haven’t checked out. Anyone wanting to visit, here are the directions:
- Don’t go to the big Children’s Hospital that you see off the freeway. Go to “Frost Street”.
- Sam’s room is in the one story and look for signs that say “Hematology/Oncology.” The building he is in looks more like a clinic.
- Parking is right next door.
- Sign in at the front desk and get a badge.
- He is in room 116. Down the right hall; turn left at the first hallway you come through.
- Go through the double doors, even though they say “Staff Only.”
Make sure to ask Sam who won the “Honey Bee” Game today and don’t forget to ask if his Dad has red hair or brown hair. Sam is conducting a poll. He has a definite opinion on this.
