So, the scan looked good we think. The official report is not done yet but Neil and I only saw the spot on the femur and it was very faint. It’s hard to tell what the contrast is on the screen but it looked better to us. We didn’t see anything at all near the right hip and Neil said he could clearly see it on the last scan in LA. I stare at the pixels so hard my eyes start to blur and I think, “Is that something, does that area look brighter? There might have been a spot further up on the left leg but I’m not sure.” The good thing about all this conjecture is that there wasn’t anything screaming out its presence to us but the spot on the femur can still be seen. Things are going in the right direction we think so we are tentatively happy. I’ll confirm happiness as soon as we get the report (probably tomorrow, maybe Monday).
Sam is back in school. He made it back just in time for “snack recess” so he’ll hit “snack recess” and “lunch recess” -the most important parts of school according to little Joe ;-).
